I was just looking through some pictures from the past couple months. Here's one I like that I took at my parent's house one beautiful summer evening after we ate dinner on their deck.
And here's a picture Tammy took of me when we went out for her b-day.

One year
Yeah, it's been over a year since my last post. And what a difference a year makes. Tammy and I have our first child - Henry Roscoe. He's already almost four months old! But there's a whole blog dedicated to him already.
I was thinking about getting back into this blog again. I was just looking at the old posts, and it's nice to be able to look back and reflect. So if for no other reason than that, I'm going to go for it. Hopefully it won't be another year before my next post!

Photos
Hi,
Ok, here's some pictures of the visit from Tina and Mom!
On the Peoria Riverfront:
Tina found some glasses:
And at Giordano's in Chicago (Tammy took most of the pictures from Chicago, so I'll let her post about those).
That's all for now. I'll post some pictures from Labor Day if I get around to it later.
Thanks for stopping by!

Cody Monthly
Yup, another month has past since my last post. Since then, my sister- and mother-in-law came for a week long visit. It was so great to have them in town. We played much speed scrabble and some DDR and mini golf. We had a birthday bash complete with napkin eating contest (Tina is the champion) and s'mores over the fire. We concluded the trip with a few days in Chicago then had to say goodbye. At least this time, we know when we'll be seeing them next -- two weeks for Christmas!
Last weekend, we traveled to Ohio for the Annual Elwood Labor Day Reunion. We got to hang out with relatives that we hardly know and eat lots of good food. We played some water balloon volleyball and had a rousing game of bag-o (or 'cornhole' as I heard it called). Tammy and I won after having to go back to 13 at least three times.
So that's last month. We'll see if I can actually post before we go to Maine next month. Oh, and maybe I'll actually post some pictures since that's what I originally started this blog for. Sorry.

Bliss
Dang it... It's been forever since I've posted again. Oh well.
So yesterday was me and Tammy's three year anniversary! And what a day it was, indeed. We both got up before 5 AM to work really long days... But afterwards, we went to one of our favorite restaurants - Sizzling India - and ate so much food. Then we went to Dick's Sporting Goods so Tammy could buy me a gift :) -- I had already bought and given a gift to her, by the way. But she bought me just what I wanted; a new racquetball glove and a new grip for my racquet! Super exciting for me. For a walk down the Cody memory lane go here.
Next big event I'm looking forward to? Less than two weeks and my mother-in-law and sister-in-law will be visiting! That will be great.
Later.

Official Yogi
So it's official. I'm a Yoga Instructor. Yesterday was my first class leading. It was a long, often sad progression of events, but here I am today getting paid to do yoga. Last month, I took an instructor training, not thinking I'd actually be teaching so soon. But the previous instructor found a full time job in Peoria and is no longer able to make it to Morton for classes. It happened super fast, but it's exciting. I got positive feedback, even though I screwed up a few times. I have a very forgiving and flexible (pyscially and situationally) group of yogis.
If you're interested, the class I teach is at 8:30 on Friday mornings at Village Courts in Morton. A one day pass is only $5!
Namaste :)

Fruition of Prediction
Yeah, it's been a month since my last post. I can't say I didn't warn you in my first post...
I was planning on having this be a blog where I can post pictures I take, but I just haven't been taking pictures lately. There was a fantastic sunrise this morning on my way to work, but I don't bring my camera with me because it would have to sit in the car all 10 hours I'm in the office (I think I read that SF does not allow photography of or in any of its facilities so I can't bring the camera in with me).
Anyway, let's see how long it takes for my next post to show up.
